Hotel Coordinator

Job Description

ARI is looking for a well-rounded individual to join our extended stays team. A typical day will include working closely with insureds that need temporary housing in a hotel as a result of damage to their home. In short, as a claim comes in, the hotel coordinator reaches out to the insured via phone to collect their basic needs, special requests and any other details with the main goal to put them in a hotel as soon as possible. This fast-paced and detail-oriented position plays a key role in Assured Relocation’s business model and can be very demanding.

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with insureds on new placements into hotels as well as handling necessary extensions, changing rooms/hotels (and booking vacation rentals as needed)
  • Work with adjusters on updates, approvals and extensions
  • Manage ALE Limits and collect necessary documentation from the insured.
  • Manage open Hotel files and ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Book hotels through company’s proprietary hotel booking system
  • Follow up with insured’s and hotels regarding checkouts
  • Handle hotel invoicing; collect folios, dispute hotel discrepancies, coordinate internal email correspondence for billing and handling

Ideally, You’ll Also Have…

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Outlook Email)
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Insurance industry experience
